Information about Directors' Dealings

Under section 15 a of the Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz), the members of the Executive and Supervisory Boards of Süd-Chemie AG are obligated to report the purchase or sale of Süd-Chemie shares. In addition to the buying and selling of Süd-Chemie shares, transactions in securities relating to Süd-Chemie shares (e.g. the sale or purchase of warrants for Süd-Chemie shares) must also be reported.

Following the enactment of the Investor Protection Improvement Act (Anlegerschutzverbesserungsgesetz) on October 30, 2004, these reporting obligations also apply to persons who have regular access to inside information and are authorized to make significant corporate decisions. The reporting obligations further apply to securities dealings by natural persons or legal entities who are closely related to one of the aforementioned persons.
